CORE OBJECTIVES

simulation_Area

USER TERMINAL (UT)

The User Terminal (UT) is che core of PATROL project. It is a close-to-market prototype compliant with the new EU regulation on smart tachograph for the provision of trusted position and time using satellite navigation systems. The User Terminal features a dual-frequency L1 and L5 Galileo and GPS board, a Galileo OS-NMA processing module, sensor fusion, tamper detection technologies and advanced GNSS spoofing detection and mitigation techniques. I provides a comprehensive set of logs for performance evaluation.

VALIDATION PLATFORM (VP)

The validation platform allow the end-to-end testing of the user terminal, supporting simulation of advanced spoofing attacks, generation of OS-NMA data, modelling of user environment through a set of simulation tools. It allows to measure the UT’s performances against a number of key performance indicators (KPIs) that are estimated by the analysis tools using UT’s logs as inputs. The VP can also process the KPI’s generating specific tables and plots through the reporting tools.
